Golden Retriever Hilariously Interrupts Weatherman's Live At-Home Forecast

This is the best news update in months.

A weatherman has discovered the joys of broadcasting his updates from home after his pet dog interrupted his forecast.

Millions of people are working from home amid the coronavirus pandemic and many have had to adapt the way they do things to make up for not being in the office.

Those who work in broadcast media have a particularly hard task as there is a lot of gear that is required to get news, weather and sport updates out to the masses.

But it's made even harder when you have people and pets wanting your attention.

Fox News 13-Tampa Bay's chief meteorologist Paul Dellegatto found that out the hard way when his adorable golden retriever nudged his way into the broadcast.

Paul was in the middle of explaining how the temperatures were going to track over the next few days when Brody hit his head on the device that helped the forecast animations work.

"That wasn't quite smart," Dellegatto said to Brody during the live-broadcast.

The weatherman then asked Brody to jump up on his lap and get the attention he was desperately craving while still giving the forecast. This guy is a professional first and a dog lover second. Maybe they're equal.

Paul hints that the mid-broadcast interruption could be due to Brody wanting to be fed and promised the good doggo he'd get some food after everything was done.

The golden retriever then got distracted and tried to sniff out what the cameraman is up to. All in all, it's possibly the best news update we've had in months.

Brody isn't the only golden retriever to go viral over the past few weeks.

Elsie was filmed by a woman on TikTok having absolutely none of it during her walk on the Gold Coast in Australia.

Her owner Mike Cook was captured trying everything in the book to get the dog to move; from pulling on its lead, pretending to walk off without her and even picking her up and placing her on her feet. But nothing worked.

The hilarious moment was uploaded to social media, where it's been viewed by tens of millions of people.

Kayla Evans filmed the clip and told the ABC: "We were just out with our neighbours one afternoon, having some drinks we were watching the dogs walking past.

"And this man walks past and all of a sudden his dog just stops and does not want to move.

"It went on for a few minutes and it was just so funny, we were in tears we just could not get over it."

Some people on social media thought the golden retriever was desperate to keep the walkies going while others wondered whether she had been walked so much during isolation that she was getting over exercised.

But Mike reckons this naughty outburst from Elsie was due to her not having her dinner yet and honestly that is such a mood.
