Shite news for those who sought refuge in the idea of Michelle Obama running for President in 2020 following the Trump victory three weeks ago: not happening, that.
President Barack Obama confirmed it himself, declaring she'll 'never run for office.'
"She is as talented a person as I know," he told Rolling Stone. "You can see the incredible resonance she has with the American people. But I joke that she's too sensible to want to be in politics."

The first lady has herself said in the past she wouldn't run following her husband's two terms as POTUS, but this looks like a pretty solid 'No.'

Still, everything is wrestling, and politics is more theatrical than Jersey Boys at the moment, so this might also be a case of her playing it cool before announcing herself as a Democratic candidate in a few years.

Michelle recently gave a speech to guests at the White House in which she expressed her gratification at those helping hands since Barack Obama's inauguration in 2009.
"On behalf of the entire Obama family ― me, Barack, Malia, Sasha, grandma, Bo and Sonny ― we are so proud of this team here, so proud of the time we have spent with you, so grateful for everything you've done for us," she said.
