Fair play to her, she's smashing it.

A self-confessed 'nerd' swapped playing X-Box for putting on cam shows and now earns £150,000-a-year.

21-year-old Harriet Sugarcookie (I'm guessing that's not her real name), used video games as a way to escape, sometimes taking part in six-day gaming marathons to avoid leaving the house and having to deal with her social anxiety.

However, all that changed when one of her friends posted a photo of her on Reddit in a thread called 'Next Door Asians' and she suddenly found she had a lot of admirers.

Harriet, who lives in London but is originally from Vietnam, is now an award-winning amateur porn star with thousands of fans.

Speaking to the Daily Star, she said: "In a way I'm living every guy's fantasy. I'm inviting my favourite porn stars over to my place to hang out and filming the results.

She said before she began doing cam-work that her confidence was at an all-time low and that she didn't "consider herself pretty in any way". She turned to gaming for fun and didn't bother making friends. "I was very lonely before," she added.

Her website harrietsugarcookie.com features cam-session, homemade movies and then she's also lashed in some gaming tips and recipes. What more could you want?

Harriet has won an award from the UK Adult Producers for Best Niche/Fetish Website 2016.

As well as inviting porn star friends over to make films and putting on cam-shows for her fans, Harriet also has six virtual boyfriends who she messages every day and who she is 'extremely close to'.

She was also quick to point out that, although she's earning a lot of cash, it's the social aspect that's been the most rewarding. "I was honestly unpopular and lonely before I started camming," she said.

"Since camming, I've made some really important friends, I've worked on my personal health and grooming and I'm a better person, in a better place."
