Honi, one of Philadelphia Zoo's western lowland gorillas, gave birth on Friday. The baby gorilla is the first born at the zoo in 20 years and now they're holding an online contest to name the newly born.
Here at theLADbible, we love a good online naming contest, but we know it can be quite hard to choose the right name.
We also know the internet takes these contests incredibly seriously. So, to help you out, I decided to give you some suggestions of what you could choose as the name for the newly-born gorilla.
Here are some names which I thought up...
Orlando
In a tribute to The Lord of the Rings star Orlando Bloom, who recently got his dick out whilst paddle-boarding with his girlfriend Katy Perry, you could choose to name the gorilla as Orlando.
Much like Orlando, when he's paddle-boarding, gorillas chose to emancipate themselves from the socially constructed concept of clothing, choosing to live completely naked.

My work-mate, George Pavlou, is hairy as fuck, much like a gorilla. Could there be a greater tribute to a young gorilla than being named after a hairy theLADbible writer?

I just like this name, to be honest. And I reckon if an animal is going to be incarcerated for its lifetime, purely for human pleasure, it might as well have a nice name.
