There is no Santa.
Yeah, that's right, Sonny Jim, your mum and dad are massive bullshit artists.
Santa is all an elaborate ruse orchestrated by adults to make Christmas seem special to children and prevent young eyes from seeing the festive season as the expression of consumerist gluttony that it really is.
Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit, but apparently I'm not the only one ruining Christmas for everyone. A Christian preacher and full-time savage living in Texas went up to a queue of kids waiting to meet Santa in a shopping centre and told them all that he didn't exist.
David Grisham posted the video of the incident, saying: "Christmas is about Jesus Christ - and that Jesus died on the cross to pay for their sins."

Speaking into the camera, he says: "I'm at the mall in Amarillo, Texas, and I'm going to tell the children the truth - that there is no Santa Claus.
"So, here we go, I'm going to tell them the truth."
Parents start shouting for the preacher to stop, however, that fails to deter the hero that Christmas deserves, but doesn't need right now. He only ceased revealing the unbearable truth after being manhandled by one of the dads.
The video has gone viral, with many on social media sites saying he's an arsehole.
