Bloke Driving Car Filmed Singing To Christian Rock Crashes Down Embankment

Nice one mate.

A driver who was filming himself singing a song in his car managed to capture the moment he came tearing off the road.

Travis Carpenter was travelling from Indianapolis to Whitewater, Wisconsin, when he crashed his car at 70mph down an embankment.

He was singing a song by Christian rock band Casting Crowns when his car slid off the road in heavy rain.

Dashcam footage shows him belting out the line 'Now my life to you I give' before he screams out in fear. Which, if I'm being honest, is the funniest thing I've seen today. It's 12 seconds in where you see, and hear, the moment he knows he's fucked up.

Apparently Travis did not suffer any injuries in the crash and he says his car is still driveable.

He said: "I was going 70mph (speed limit) on I65 north. I travel the three-four hours by myself every time and use singing as a way to pass time, and critique it later.

"At this point I was practising a nasal type voice on a Casting Crowns song when the crash happened. I was watching the road and saw nothing that caused me to worry.

"[I] simply hydroplaned in heavy rain. My car slid sideways, and then I was completely backwards by the time I slid off the road and went down a small hill.

"I hit a mile marker sign (230) on my way off the road.

"Here are two of the most amazing parts: I sustained NO injuries.

"Not even a scratch. And my car took NO mechanical damage and is completely driveable. Only body damage."

Who knows, maybe God was watching over him
