Woman quits her job to become a full-time witch and is now making thousands every month

Like something out of Bewitched, it's like she wrinkled her nose and... poof! A new career.

A Welsh woman has spectacularly quit her job to take up a whole new career and is earning her thousands each month.

Jessica Caldwell, 29, a beautician from Swansea, swapped her make-up brushes for a magic wand to become a full-time witch.

Yep, as in the spell-casting, Hogwarts-attending, Taylor Swift-listening to, once-burned-at-the-stake witch.

The trained nail technician quit her job of five years after a 'spiritual awakening' when she was scrolling on social media one day.

She splurged on spell books, tarot cards, and crystals, and quickly set up a social media account for her business.

Now, she services more than 5,000 clients who all need her magic touch in one way or another.

"I've always been a witch," she said.

"I just never had the tools to utilise my power until now. Intuition is a powerful tool that I never realised I used in my daily life."

She added: "Now I utilise it within my readings with complete strangers."

The 29-year-old works only on social media and earns three times more than she did at the salon.

"My friends and family were worried when I started working full-time," Caldwell said.

"But once I started to earn good money they supported me."

Well, isn't that just a bewitching tale that could have jumped right off of the pages of a Salem Witch Trial?

Her interest piqued when she came across a paranormal group on Facebook back in 2019.

"The Facebook group was filled with posts where people explained their journeys into witchcraft.

''It fascinated me and I felt really drawn to know more," she said.

"At first I was extremely sceptical, but I was really curious and I became obsessed. I felt like it was a pull towards it all, it felt really natural to me.''

Her business has swelled since 2020, when she began to charge for her magical mends.

And, just like that, she was the most popular witch in town.

She revealed a woman approached her for a reading on behalf of her partner.

The friendly neighbourhood witch used only her intuition to pick up his name was Steve.

She revealed her clients often ask about love in their appointments with her and her spellbinding skills.

''People want to know what their partner thinks about them," she said.

"Sometimes I do have to tell them the brutal truth.

"Some people just want a nice chat which can be just as helpful as a reading.

"I also give free advice on spell work and spirituality. I show people how to create protection charms."

She added: "I even show them how to attract people to you."

Uh, so does that mean it is basically a love potion?
