It's not often that someone buys a car and ends up selling it for more than they bought it.
New motors lose value from the moment they are driven off the forecourt and the worth of used ones crashes even quicker.
But this savvy bloke seems to have found a loophole, as he bought a car for £400 and managed to sell it for three times that.

Sean Welsh, 19, secured quite a hefty profit after putting his faith in a bright red Vauxhall Corsa SXi earlier this year.
He spotted the three-door vehicle on Facebook Marketplace for a few hundred quid, but reckoned it could be worth much more after a bit of TLC.

The car flipper documented the process on his TikTok account @s888anw so that his followers could follow along with him.
After picking up his new set of wheels, Sean headed to the car wash to spruce it up before the real dirty work began.
It seemed to be in pretty good condition, but he was somewhat humbled after taking it for an MOT.
The Corsa failed the test to see if it was road-worthy, due to issues with the wiper blades, shock absorber and bulbs.

But the setback didn't phase Sean, as he simply splashed out £100 on the required repairs. An 'easy fix', according to him.
After it passed its second MOT, the teenager then took a leaf out of Del Boy's book and advertised the Corsa for £1,400.
He ended up dropping the price by £200 to secure the sale, but ended up with over a grand in his back pocket. Not a bad few day's work.
It left Sean - a car flipper who shares the process from start to finish on social media - with a tidy £700 profit.

I bet the buyer was kicking themselves after seeing his video though.
His clip garnered a mixed response in the comment section, as well as many questions from his curious followers.
One said: "Could have probably put it up for £2k, let people make some offers and got a few hundred more in profit. But good stuff!"
Another wrote: "That's not 700 profit then, both MOT bookings, the 100 for any issues, insurance for a few days, 500 profit maximum."
Sean responded: "One MOT booking at trade price £35 free retest, few bulbs £5, wipers £10, shock absorber £35 insurance £12 day."

A third asked: "Sorry to ask probs the most common questions, but how do you do this without trade insurance etc and buying and selling without being a trader?"
The content creator replied: "I’m 19, so I can’t get Trade insurance.
"I use Veygo. I usually insure the cars I buy for three days for roughly £40. This gives me enough time to prepare for the sale."
Others were sceptical about the quality of the car due to the fact it was originally being flogged for £400.
Regardless, Sean received a nice payday.
