New research has looked at the porn habits of Brits and has revealed some pretty interesting details.
The report, from UK's communications regulator Ofcom, took a look at who is accessing what and when - and some of the data is a bit of an eye opener.
The report reveals that 29 percent (13.8 million) of Brits looked at adult content in May 2023, which - if you’re interested - is a similar figure to the same time last year when it was 31 percent or 14.6 million.

To break that down a bit, while England, Scotland and Northern Ireland sat at 29 percent of adults, while our friends in Wales were a bit higher with 33 percent of adults looking at smutty content online.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, the majority of Brits who accessed porn online were male - 73 percent or 10.1 million compared to 27 percent or 3.7 million women.
Pornhub held the top spot when it came to looking at porn online and was particularly popular with younger adults.
Thirty percent of Brits aged between 18-34 years olds visited Pornhub in May 2023, compared to 10 percent of those over the age of 44.

Other popular sites included Chaturbate, OnlyFans and Xhamster, which has nothing to do with hamsters, in case you were wondering.
When it comes to the time of day that most folks were accessing adult content, you may be quite surprised - while you may assume that scrolling porn is an evening activity, it turns out the majority of Brits look at it during work hours.
According to the data, porn was most popular during the hours of 9am to 5.29pm than at other times of the day - with 21 percent of adults accessing NSFW content during working hours.
This drops to 13 percent between 5.30pm and 7.59pm and goes back up slightly to 17 percent between 8pm and 11.59pm and then again to 18 percent between midnight and 8.59am.

However, UK adults spent the most time on porn sites between midnight and 8:59am - 59 minutes on average per visitor in May 2023 compared to 55 minutes on average per visitor in the mornings and afternoons.
And while we’re on the subject of how long people spend on adult sites, Brits spent just shy of two hours - one hour 56 minutes - on porn sites during the month of May 2023.
