Facebook and Instagram, run by parent company Meta, have both been down currently without reason.
The issue hit countless users across the world today (5 March) shortly before 4pm GMT.
Users have flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to ask why they have been kicked out of their accounts.
Andy Stone, who handles communications for Meta, posted on X: "We're aware people are having trouble accessing our services. We are working on this now."
Elon Musk, who runs X, has also spoken out on the situation.
