The Rio Olympics are just around the corner and it is already shaping up to be the worst Olympics ever.
From athletes being kidnapped, being forced with swim in actual shit and of course the unliveable accommodation, the whole thing seems like a bit of a joke.

And now the Australian team, who have already had a bad enough time over the accommodation on offer, not to mention having to put up with the mayor of Rio making a rubbish 'joke' about putting a kangaroo outside to make the athletes feel more at home are having another nightmare.
They've had some of their stuff stolen after a fire started in the basement of one of the buildings. The buildings were evacuated and, in the half-hour the team were stood outside, laptops and t-shirts were stolen the Metro reports. Unbelievable, really, isn't it?

As well as being, understandably, upset at having their stuff nicked the team are also furious that the fire alarms had been deactivated, which is clearly pretty dangerous. Kitty Chiller, team Australia's Olympic Chef de Mission said: "Obviously that is completely unacceptable that a) the fire alarm was disabled and b) that if it had to be, that we weren't warned about that."

The games start on Friday, and think Rio is going to have to put on a pretty good show if it wants to undo any of the damage that's happened in the run up.
