Twitter is closing its video sharing service Vine fours years after it launched.
The move, which seems brutal considering 'Vines' are six-second videos, has not yet been justified by the social media site, however earlier today it was announced that they were chopping 9% of its workforce.
"In the coming months we'll be discontinuing the [Vine] mobile app," they said in a blog.

Clearly, this has come as a shock to Vine-makers and viewers alike, who fail to see the logic involved.
I'll suppose we'll have to wait for that explanation, if it ever comes. In the meantime, let's remember Vine and Vines in glorious health and not sickness.
