Police Hunt Gunman After Victim Is Shot At Swedish Shopping Centre

A man has been 'shot in the leg' at a busy shopping centre in Malmo, Sweden.

According to local media, the incident took place at around 4pm.

The victim has been rushed to hospital but the full extent of his injuries are unknown.

Police field officer Lotta Svensson told Sydsvenskan: "It's messy in there, but a man is shot - probably in the leg. He is taken to hospital."

Shoppers are currently locked in the centre and nobody is allowed to leave.
