In the wake of Britain leaving the EU, Donald Trump was in Scotland promoting his new golf course when he exclaimed how "amazing this day was," despite the fact that the majority of Scotland voted to remain. Well done, Trumpy, yet again putting your foot in it, we wouldn't have expected anything less from you.

"Build a wall" and "make Mexico pay for it," was another one.

A father of a Slain Muslim-American soldier who died in 2004 had a few words of his own to direct at Trump.

Speaking at the Democratic National Convention on Thursday night in Philadelphia, the audience listened and watched Khizr Khan, alongside his wife, speak about his son's legacy and, specifically targeting Trump, asked him to look up both the sections on 'legacy' and the 'equal protection law' in the United States Constitution.

Khan's son was just 27 years old when he was killed by a suicide bomber in Baghdad back in 2004. Army Captain Humayun Khan was guarding the infantry unit of his camp in Baquba, Iraq when he noticed a speeding vehicle packed with explosives coming towards him, The Independent reports.

After raising the alarm for his fellow men, he ran 10 steps towards the vehicle when it exploded, killing him immediately and saving his troops.

Captain Khan was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart because of the courageous and selfless act.

"Our son, Humayun, had dreams of being a military lawyer, but he put those dreams aside the day he sacrificed his life to save the lives of his fellow soldiers," Khan told the convention.

"Hillary Clinton was right when she called my son 'the best of America'. If it was up to Donald Trump, he never would have been in America."

He also asked Trump whether he has been to Arlington Cemetery. "Go look at the graves of brave patriots who died defending the United States of America," he said. "You will see all faiths, genders and ethnicities. You have sacrificed nothing and no one."

And with that, we can conclude that Karma was best served by Khan.
