Staff Chip In To Buy Console For Kid Who Keeps Coming Into Store To Play

This is what Christmas is all about.

One of the best examples of festive spirit was displayed by the staff at a Best Buy in Long Island, where they pulled together to make a young man's Christmas.

The employees had noticed a guy who came into their store virtually every day to play on the WiiU which was set up for customers.

So the lad could enjoy playing the console from the comfort of his own home, and not have to visit the shop every day, the staff all chipped in to buy him his very own console.

The man is clearly left nearly speechless at the act of kindness, as one man approaches him and says: "For real, it's a Christmas present, an early Christmas present. You don't have to be here you can go home and play."

ABC7NY have since reported that the following day the boy returned with his mother, who thanked the staff and told them that her son loves the present.

Rahiem Storr uploaded the video to YouTube and even gave him a lift home to make sure he got there safe.

"I just saw a bit of myself in him," Storr told ABC7NY. "Because when I was a kid, I used to also come to a lot of the stores. My mom, she really couldn't afford some of the stuff herself. If we're able to give him something, why not?"

Merry Christmas.
