100 Naked Women Gather To Protest Against Donald Trump At Republican Convention

Some were even Republicans.

Yesterday morning, 100 women amassed in by the Cuyahoga River in Ohio with large circular mirrors in protest at Donald Trump's nomination at the Republican National Convention.

The volunteers gathered for the demo at 5:15am. The women were chosen from an original 1,800 applicants, Esquire reports.

The gathering is a part of Spencer Tunick's art installation-cum-documentary Everything She Says Means Everything.

"This is for you and this is for our future," Tunick told the crowd. "We will shine your light and power onto the RNC. We're going to shine the light of women into this area."

One protester, Cathy Scott, a Republican voter, expressed her feelings towards the rise of Trump: "Donald Trump has said so many outrageous, hateful, inflammatory things.

"He underestimated his female, Republican vote. I feel like he shot himself in the foot a little bit. I don't think he knows there's a black, single, 35-year-old mom, like me, who is listening to what he's saying. I don't think he knows I'm in his political party-and that's unfortunate."

Some were less politically-motivated. Sabrina Paskewitz, a 23-year-old student, said: "For me, it's less about Trump and more about creating positive energy around the RNC and to create light where there maybe isn't as much,"

Spencer Tunick is well known for his nude photography. And this is definitely a statement.
