In 24 hours' time, Rio will be going live to the world ahead of the opening of the 31st Olympic games. But for one Chinese athlete, Rio isn't all it's cracked up to be.
According to Sickchirpes, 100-metre hurdles athlete Shi Dongpeng was given a rather rank arrival experience. Within hours of touching down in the host city, he and his cameraman were vomited on and robbed.

The pair headed straight to their hotel from the airport when a local man stumbled up to Dongpeng and puked up over him before running away.
The athlete then went to get cleared up while his cameraman dropped everything to run after the revolting lad.
Minutes later, the cameraman came back to the scene to find that his full set of equipment was nowhere to be seen.
After watching the CCTV, the two realised that they'd been had. While the cameraman was chasing the 'drunk', his mate quickly entered the hotel and stole his belongings.
The incident comes as a reminder to all who are attending Rio for this year's Olympics to not chase after drunk fools.
We do hope that Dongpeng's departure from the games is as dramatic as his entrance.
