Coffee Shop Has A Brilliant Idea To Inspire Politeness In Customers

There's a major problem for people working in the likes of coffee shops, restaurants and supermarkets - rude bellends.

For some reason, because people are customers, they seem to think that workers owe them the world. It wouldn't take you long to find someone being an arsehole to someone serving them a coffee in a town centre.

CUPS Coffee & Tea, a small business in Roanoke, Virginia, has seemingly found away to avoid any kind of rudeness from customers, by simply placing out a sign outside.

The sign basically tells the twats of the world that if you fail to be polite to staff, you'll be paying more for your drink.

In truth, no one was ever going to be paying more for their coffee or tea, but Austin Simms, the employee who wrote the sign, said that the idea was to basically make people be polite in fear that they'd have to pay a little extra.

He told WDBJ7: "I decided because I need to solve all the injustices of the world to start charging more for people who didn't take the time to say hello and connect and realize we're all people behind the counter."

Apparently, owner of the store, Olivia Byrd, and all her staff, have noticed an increase in politeness from customers since last week.

What an idea.
