Vinnie Jones admits The Gentlemen is ‘not far off’ Snatch 2 as he provides a big update on the heavily requested sequel.
So, the new Guy Richie-led Netflix series centres around a drug-fuelled criminal empire as the likes Theo James, Ray Winstone, Kaya Scodelario, Giancarlo Esposito all star alongside the British actor.
The eight-part show follows the Duke of Halstead, Eddie Horniman (James) who is the estranged son of an English aristocrat, forced into a world of crime.
Despite being in jail, Bobby Glass (Winstone) is responsible for running the industrial cannabis empire on the East End of London.

Scodelario stars as Susie Glass, Bobby’s fashionable and ruthless daughter, handling the drug operation while her dad is locked up.
Now, veteran actor Jones plays the estate's groundskeeper, Geoff Seacombe, who remains heavily involved in the day-to-day ongoings of the business.
Although the 59-year-old is best known for playing a 'hard man' in most of his films, it seems that one of his more iconic portrayals is that of 'Bullet-Tooth Tony', a British bounty hunter in Guy Richie's crime comedy Snatch (2002).

Speaking to LADbible, Jones opened up on the possibility of a Snatch 2, while also comparing it to his new gig in The Gentlemen.
“This is kind of a Snatch 2 thing, I think. It's along that genre," he said.
"There's travellers and aristocracy and geezers and birds and all that.
"It's not far off to be fair."

When asked about the possibility of a Snatch sequel, Jones said that he would definitely be up for it - but has acknowledged the difficulties of making it happen.
"I think Guy is so busy at the moment, and it's taken off, that's kind of why it hasn't slotted in I think," he said of the British director, who is the creator, co-writer, executive producer, and director of the first two episodes.
"It would be well received though, I think, it's the same as this, with the movie, you know, it's very hard.
"I think sometimes to change characters really is [hard] or to introduce characters.

"For people, for the public to accept them it's quite hard.
"That's the hardest thing with this, I think, is overcoming that.
"And if we do that on the series, then it will be fantastic. But that's the hardest thing with any of this.
"You know, you've got Snatch 2, and you've got different characters.

"Some of them are dead now, a load of them lads, you know, Lock Stock and Snatch and that. A lot of them have passed away.”
Opening up on what the rest of his career looks like, Jones said he is 'happy on the farm at the moment'.
The Gentlemen will be available to stream on Netflix from 7 March.
