Fans of Netflix’s Sex Education were shocked to spot a character from another huge TV show popping up in the latest series.
We're talking - of course - about Sex Education, where there’s an appearance from none other than Game of Thrones’ very own Joffrey Baratheon, or Jack Gleeson to his mam.
Yes, he might have played one of the most evil and reprehensible characters in a show that was known for having a whole bunch of bad guys, but now he’s turned up in the teen-drama for the final series.

Hopefully he doesn’t get poisoned on a piece of his own pie this time, though.
Gleeson has turned up in Sex Education season four playing a character called Dodgy Mo, who is a friend of Maeve’s brother, Sean.
Fans of the show were shocked to see Gleeson turn up, with one commenting: "I was watching that dodgy Mo scene like that guy looks oddly familiar and turn out it’s none other than Joffrey from Game of Thrones."

Another wrote: "Jump scare of actor for Joffrey in Sex Education."
A third simply said: "What is Joffrey Baratheon doing on Sex Education?"
Since leaving the HBO behemoth, Gleeson has not taken on much acting work since his character in Game of Thrones was killed off suddenly.
The Irish actor starred in the adaptation of George RR Martin’s books for three years between 2011 and 2014, but his character was so well played and so calculating and evil that some of that started to seep over into Gleeson’s real life.

He’s admitted in the past that he lost his love for acting after GoT, including while giving a talk to students at University College Dublin.
Gleeson said: “It really come down to just not deriving as much enjoyment as I did from acting as I used to.
“I started acting when I was eight and really really loved it, you know.

“All I wanted to be was an actor when I grew up,
“For some reason, I don’t know, it became a bit kind of mechanical and less kind of passionate when I started Game of Thrones."
To be fair, he was only 19 years old and working on one of the biggest TV shows ever.
The way it was made didn’t phase him, but the pressure of acting being a full-time job seems to have played a part.

He continued: “I don’t think it’s got anything to do with the way they film it.
“I think when it became less of a recreation and more of a profession, it kind of put more pressure on the acting itself and made it a tiny bit less enjoyable.”
In recent times, Gleeson has been coming back, starring in Sara Pascoe’s sitcom Out of her Mind, as well as in the recent film In the Land of Saints and Sinners, starring alongside Liam Neeson and Kerry Condon.
Hopefully, this turn in Sex Education and those other performances will see him fall back in love with his profession and taking on more work.
