People only just realising Netflix has hidden feature to help you get in shape

Netflix's hidden feature has been on the platform for nearly a year.

Many of us - myself included - prefer a couch marathon to running an actual marathon.

Before it was TV, and now it's streaming services who are being accused of keeping your eyes glued to the telly, so much so that you can't be bothered to work out.

But especially after a long day at the office, most of us just want to go home and catch up on a bit of telly to help unwind and escape for a couple hours.

However, the most unknown feature on Netflix might have the answer we've been looking for.

For those who don't have the energy to get changed and go to the gym after work, Netflix's Fitness feature - which you have probably never heard of - could be the one for you.

In collaboration with Nike Training Club, Netflix has provided us with 'the option to feel the burn and then directly transition into one of your favourite shows'.

Nike Training Club has a number of programs you can watch with workouts for all fitness levels and exercises. Watch below:

This includes strength training, yoga and high-intensity workouts - all from the comfort of your own home.

What's crazy is that Netflix announced this feature on 30 March 2023... but why have we never heard of it until now?

After finding out about Netflix Fitness on Reddit, fans were utterly stunned, as one person commented: "Holy s**t. Why don't they advertise that?"

Another added: "Netflix hardly advertises anything. They mostly rely on word-of-mouth."

While a third person explained: "I don't think that's what they meant, they meant like 'why doesn't this show up literally anywhere in the app that isn't buried in 3 levels of menus'."

Someone else who has been using the feature for a while said it's 'changed their life'.

"They're the reason I practice yoga now," they explained.

Now, sadly it seems that Nike's fitness videos will be leaving Netflix on 10 March 2024.

They might get reposted on YouTube but we're not sure at the moment.

Although if you want to make the most of it, all you have to do is search 'Nike' on Netflix to find the collection of workouts, which include:

1) 10 Minute Workouts (Volume 2)

2) 20 Minute Workouts (Volume 2)

3) Abs & Core

4) Bodyweight Burn (Volume 2)

5) Fire & Flow

6) Fitness for Runners

7) High-Intensity Training (Volume 2)

8) Ignite & Inspire with Kirsty Godso

9) Kick Off With Betina Gozo
