Margot Robbie's body double on what she saw on the Barbie set.

In a recent interview with The New York Times, Margot’s Robbie’s body double gave a sneak peek into life on set of the upcoming Barbie movie.

Emma Eastwood was only originally hired to be Robbie's hand double but was given the chance to body double for Robbie in a few scenes including one where she laid on the floor facedown for an hour.

Body doubles are used in the film industry so that if a major actor can't make it to set, rehearsals and filming can still go ahead.

Eastwood was the exact same measurement as Robbie, meaning she would wear all the same costumes Robbie would wear as Barbie when she was on set.

“They didn't make anything for me specifically.”

Eastwood also was treated to the same hair and makeup Robbie got done, revealing she would spend about an hour each morning in the hair and makeup department.

It was her first time being a body double, as the actress usually sticks to music videos and short films.

“My first couple of days, I got a bit of the star treatment,” revealed the 26-year-old, who was ecstatic to learn that she had her own trailer.

She was even more excited when she watched the trailer, which included a shot of her walking up the stairs with hurt feet.

In a recent tweet, Eastwood said being Barbie’s body double was 'the best experience of my life and I will absolutely never shut up about it.'

However excited she was, though, Eastwood didn’t actually know many details about the movie she was filming.

“There were a couple of times they said the whole cast would be there and it would be an important day, but they never actually gave me any details of what we would be doing until I was on set," she said.

The Barbie cast, in case you’ve been living under a rock, is star-studded with huge names like Ryan Gosling, Kate McKinnon, Will Ferrell, Micheal Cera and Issa Rae, all starring alongside Robbie.

Though, if you were thinking about asking Eastwood for a couple of spoilers, it turns out she’s not that much help.

“I was on this for two weeks, and I barely know what the movie is about,” said Eastwood.

“They did a very good job of keeping the plot hidden.”

You can catch Eastwood’s body double work in Greta Gerwig’s Barbie movie which comes out later this month on 20th of July.
