Cannot wait.

Over the last few months all eyes have been fixed upon Chris Evans and what turned out to be his failed attempt at taking over from Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear.

Many a complaint was made, and after so many people called for Evans' firing, the 50-year-old stepped down before things got any worse.

Now, however, the tides have changed. With new-look Top Gear off our screens, all attention has turned towards the former hosts of the show, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, as their new motoring show begins to take shape.

Apparently being officially brought to us at some point next month, it's that time when we're unceremoniously teased with trailers and clips. With that in mind, The Grand Tour released some new footage, and it's certain to whet your whistle.

The first of three clips to be posted on The Grand Tour's Twitter page showed Clarkson talking about a hangover he once had while about to drive a rally car. The three have never been shy about their love for alcohol, so it's not really a surprise.

Any thoughts that the trio may have lost their touch, or grown out of fooling around, can be put to bed, too, as the second clip proves.

Stood around in what looks like some sort of quarry, the three laugh as a rented Range Rover drives off, broken. God knows what they've done with it to get it in such terrible shape, but they do mention that they told lied to the rental company when saying they weren't taking the 4x4 off road.

It could be a fair assumption that the three videos posted by The Grand Tour's official Twitter are soon going to be more popular than the recent revamp of Top Gear. They proved that when a video of Clarkson putting a box together was more popular.

The final clip showed the three getting typically off topic, talking about Hammond's dress sense, rather than his cars.

If this is a taste of what's to come, their new series will certainly be one to watch.

The show airs exclusively on Amazon Prime in August. Bring it on.
