There was a lot of speculation over whether the reports surrounding Conor McGregor entering the world of Game of Thrones were true, but all that can stop now.
None other than the head of UFC, Dana White, has confirmed that The Notorious will indeed be dabbling in the art of film, and will be ready to slap the head off any Starks, dragons or white walkers who cross his path.
Dana appeared on Fox Sports Live to confirm the news, saying he's glad his most marketable and profitable asset has moved into one of the biggest TV shows of recent times.

"I knew that a few months ago that they were interested in putting him in the show," he said. "And I'm glad he did it. It'll be great.
"The show's huge, it's awesome and I'm excited for him."
It's not yet clear what McGregor's role will be in the show, but here's to hoping he's got a free pass to smash absolutely everyone up. That includes Tyrion Lannister, despite the size difference.
