Looks bloody good, dunnit?
The trailer, which was released last summer, gave us the impression that we'd be in for a wonderfully intense ride - and now it seems that the film might just have delivered the highly anticipated, hyped-about goods that the first look promised, with critics singing its praises across the board.
Following yesterday's premiere in LA, gushing film reviewers are taking to social media with their first impressions, which are universally very, very good.

The Los Angeles Times' Jen Yamato said the film is 'incredible, kinetic, purposeful', while Fandango's Erik Davis referred to it as 'the James Bond of the MCU', adding: "You've seen nothing like this in a superhero movie".

Others took time to commend strong performances from the cast, including lead star Chadwick Boseman (42, Get on Up and Gods of Egypt).
Those are some bold, bold claims right there; consider our interest entirely piqued.
The film follows T'Challa, otherwise known as Black Panther, who was last seen at the end of Captain America: Civil War. His dad was killed in a terrorist attack and he was included in a team, formed by Iron Man, to track down the Avengers who had gone rogue.
And now T'Challa's back with his very own movie, returning home to the fictional African nation of Wakanda, where he will have to ascend to the throne and lead his people. But that is thrown into disarray when a long-time rival comes out of the blue.

The film won't be hitting cinemas in the US until the middle of February, so for now you'll just have to watch the trailer on loop and see what the critics have to say.
