Fans find brutal Peloton instructor who ripped into Christopher Nolan movie as he was taking her class

The director was taking a Peloton ride when the instructor criticised his film

Christopher Nolan fans have managed to find the Peloton instructor who ripped into one of his films during a ride.

The director revealed this week that a Peloton instructor had criticised his movie during a session - not realising that he would go on to take the class.

You can watch the moment below:

Speaking during his acceptance speech for Best Director at the New York Film Critics Circle award ceremony on 4 January, Nolan said: “I was on my Peloton. I’m dying. And the instructor started talking about one of my films and said, ‘Did anyone see this? That’s a couple hours of my life I’ll never get back again!’”

Speaking of film critic Rex Reed, the Oppenheimer director added: “When Rex Reed takes a s**t on your film, he doesn’t ask you to work out!

“A question we’re always asked is: Do we read reviews? Let’s start with the fact that I’m British. A typical family gathering will involve relatives saying to me, ‘You know, Christopher. You probably shouldn’t open The Guardian today.’"

Amazingly, someone has actually managed to track down the Peloton instructor and the moment she criticised Nolan's film, Tenet, back in 2020.

In the clip, the instructor says: "This song is from the soundtrack of a movie called Tenet. Did anybody see this s**t?

"Did anybody see this beside me? Because I need a manual.

"Someone's gotta' explain this, I'm not kidding. What the f**k was going on in that movie?

"Do you understand? Seriously, you need to be a neuroscientist to understand.

"That's two and a half hours of my life I want back. I want it back."

Ouch!

Following the unearthed clip hitting the internet, the instructor, named Jenn, has taken to social media to respond.

Jenn even invited Nolan to retake one of her classes, promising he could critique her all he liked, and she would remain insult-free.

In a post to her Instagram, she explained: "It was 2020, it was a dark time... I'm running my mouth off like I'm known to do and I make a random comment about a movie I'd seen the night before.

"What are the odds that the director of said movie would take that ride some four years later?

"I may not have understood a minute of what the hell was going on in Tenet but I have watched Oppenheimer twice and that's six hours of my life I don't ever want to get back."

Fair play to Jenn, let's hope Nolan takes her up on the offer.
