Naga Munchetty is known for being the presenter of BBC Breakfast and grilling politicians. But who is she married to?

Born on 25th February 1975 in Streatham, London, Munchetty turned 46-years-old on her birthday in 2021.

Munchetty studied English Language and Literature at the University of Leeds and her first journalism job was with the London Evening Standard working on the City Pages.

Munchetty's first TV job was as a reporter for Reuters Financial Television and she first came to the BBC in October 2008 to work on the newly revamped financial show Working Lunch.

Who is Naga Munchetty's husband?

Naga Munchetty has been married to TV director and broadcast consultant James Haggar since 2007.

Haggar has had various roles in TV. He worked as senior director for CNBC International for ten years before moving to Sky.

Between 2005-2012, he was also the senior director on Five News/OK TV for BKSkyB. Following this, he spent two years at ITV Studios before going freelance in 2014.

Haggar also works on Sky News panel show The Pledge.

It's not clear how or when the two first met, but The Sun reports they courted for several years before tying the knot. Both snooker fans, they had their first date in a pool club.

Do Naga Munchetty and James Haggar have kids?

Munchetty and Haggar both have very busy careers and don't have any children (well, fur babies, but no human children).

They're both keen golfers and Naga told The Guardian in 2016 that a round of golf is a way of spending quality time together.

"It gives us a few hours together when we're walking and talking and catching up; it really makes a difference," she said.

What is Naga Munchetty's net worth?

It's not clear exactly how much the BBC presenter is worth, but it's widely estimated to be between $3-$4 million (£2-£2.9 million).
