This is really fantastic news.

Lovebirds Todd Krieg and Amanda Dieson recently got engaged, a few weeks after they found out that they will be the parents to a little lad come August time.

That's all fantastic news already, but the thing is, before all this, Todd was involved in a motocross accident which left him paralysed from the waist down. So, as well as losing the ability to walk, doctors were also concerned he would never be able to have children, either.

But he defied the odds and will become a father.

The pair got to know each other during his treatment, when he met therapist Amanda and they hit things off.

In celebration of all the good news to come, the pair posed for pictures with photographer Kayla Duffin.

And the best one is this, which is dry humour at its finest.

But there were also more heartfelt images captured as this pair embark on a pretty big year ahead.

The best of luck to the three of you.

Another Inspirational Story

Former footballer Shaun Whiter lost both legs in a hit-and-run but says he was kept alive by the thought of marrying his fiancée, Charlotte.

He told The Mirror: "In hospital, the moment I realised I had lost my legs the first thing I did was to ask my fiancée Charlotte if we were still getting married.

"When she said yes, the next thing I said was that I was going to walk down the aisle."

He said that he is determined to walk down the aisle with his artificial limbs as opposed to being pushed in his chair.

Go on lad!
