A mum-of-three discovered that she'd just won £1m on the EuroMillions lottery only 10 minutes after opening a letter telling her she'd beaten breast cancer.
Overall, not a bad few minutes, you'd have to say.
South Wales laundry worker Lynne Price, 55, decided to celebrate by having a long, relaxing soak in the bath.
Well, that's one way to do it.
The Sun reports that Lynne was at her home in New Tredegar when she opened a letter informing her that her breast cancer scan results were clear. Just a few minutes later her husband David rushed in through the door to tell her they'd scooped a million quid on the lottery.
Speaking to The Sun, she explained: "I can't tell you what I said, it's too rude, but I was in total shock.
"I was shaking and totally lost for words which never happens.
"I went and had a bath for two hours and just lay there trying to take it all in."
Her husband David, 53, had just checked the ticket at work and discovered that they had one of the winning codes for the EuroMillions Millionaire Maker.
He didn't hang about.
David said: "I went home to tell Lynne but she had some big news of her own. The letter saying she had the all clear is worth more than a million to me."
Lynne was diagnosed with cancer in 2015, but went through a course of treatment before another scan in October.
Following that, she's now been given the all clear.
Now, the pair are planning to jet off for a big holiday to escape next month's general election.
To be fair, who could blame them?
They'll also be celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary while they are at it.
Strangely enough, it seems as if winning big cash prizes runs in the family.
The pair are distantly related to Ade Goodchild, who won £71m in March, and David's sister Judith is part of a syndicate that won the jackpot back in the 1990s.
David - who has been nicknamed 'Lucky Dai' by his colleagues at British Airways - continued: "It's pretty amazing to have three big winners in one family.
"It [his nickname] was always a bit of a joke, but now it's really come true. I still can't quite believe it.
"We've been doing the lottery since it started - you put your money on but you don't really expect to win a million."
They're planning to work for a while until they decide what to do with the money, but will also be taking a few holidays, including a climbing trip for David to Everest base camp.

Obviously, Barbados is supposed to be nice, but perhaps the Himalayas also have their charm?
A National Lottery spokesperson said: "David and Lynne have such a happy story to help us celebrate 25 years of the lottery."
That they do.
