For the majority of travellers, flying Business Class will always be out of reach. The amount of money you have to fork out to sit in the comfier section of the plane would cost the same amount as the whole holiday for some.

You can hope and pray that one day you'll get to sit in the fancy seats, even if it's just for a domestic flight. Or you could just do what Aussie YouTuber Jamie Zhu did when he was flying to Asia.

Fed up with the idea of sitting in Economy Class for eight hours, the content creator decided he would pull a fast one on the flight attendants just before take-off - he pretended he'd broken his ankle in order to blag a place in the posh seats.

Jamie told his more than 1.1 million followers on Instagram how he managed to bag a seat in Business.

He rocked up to the airport, filming stuff as he went through baggage drop and customs, but decided to stop by a chemist before heading to his gate. The 26-year-old asked for a moon boot - the massive, yet soft, boots that people often have to wear after breaking a leg or foot.

Jamie pulled on the boot and limped onto the plane, claiming he had a broken ankle.

As he tried to sit down in his Economy Class seat, he claimed that his foot wouldn't fit because of the moon boot.

When a flight attendant came to his aid, he told her: "It's not fitting. The boot doesn't fit in here. Can I get another seat?"

She replied that she needed to get clearance before moving him up the plane, but after a quick check with a more senior staff member, Jamie got his free upgrade.

The rest of the video shows the YouTuber relaxing in Business Class, sipping on champagne, eating some impressive-looking food and reclining his chair to a very comfortable angle.

While he seemed pretty chuffed with himself, his followers weren't exactly impressed.

One person said: "He's just going to ruin things for people who really do have hurt ankles. This should be a heavy fine and jail time."

Another added: "Shame on you! My Daughter is a flight attendant and you are taking advantage of their good will to try and help those in need."

Some people speculated that Jamie and his mate bought Business and Economy Class tickets and simply swapped during the journey and had the flight attendants in on the joke.

Interestingly, Jamie didn't even wait until he got off the plane to get rid of the moon boot, which surely would have aroused suspicion from staff on the aircraft. When he got off his flight, he walked past someone who said they hoped his ankle gets better soon.

I'm sure it will, mate.
