Scottish guy who was promised by Post Malone to help pay house deposit gives major life update

Gregor was shocked when Post Malone offered to help with his house deposit

A man who was gifted a sum of money by Post Malone to help with his house deposit has provided an update online.

Last year, Gregor Hunter Coleman was performing a gig at Glasgow’s Wunderbar when the 'Sunflower' rapper walked in.

After he had finished his set, Post Malone approached Coleman and told him he 'smashed' it.

Coleman explained: “He said, ‘Do you want a drink?’ I was like, ‘Listen, I’m saving for a house so I’m not drinking just now.

"Which was daft, my mates were, like, ‘Why did you turn down a drink from Post Malone’?”

The rapper respected Coleman's decision and instead invited him to do a set at his concert's official after-party.

"He started saying, how much will you charge? I said 'nothing, it's Post Malone, this is the chance of a lifetime'," Coleman added.

"He got talking to me and he offered to help me out with my house deposit."

People were blown away by the singer's incredibly kind gesture, and now, Gregor has taken to his social media to update his followers on what happened next.

Gregor shared a series of different photos of his house move on TikTok, adding in the caption: "I never did a follow-up on this, we are now in and settled and still think about this crazy story every day."

In one photo, he can be seen with the keys to his new home, while in another he's stood at the back of a removal van.

He also shared that he had sent a message to Post Malone's manager, thanking them for 'keeping their word' and letting them know that he had secured the house.

Gregor added in the comments: "It honestly couldn’t have all happened at a more perfect time! I had my head screwed on and was so set in not drinking/partying until we had our wee house."

People were blown away in the comments section of the video, with one commenting: "That man is LITERALLY an earth angel. His soul is so pure."

While another said: "I met Post Malone last year in Manchester and he is genuinely one of the nicest people I’ve ever met."

A third added: "Amazing. He’s such a genuine guy, he deserves the world!"

And a fourth added: "I've said it before and I'll say it again he is one of the only famous people I think I would honestly like to meet.

"Dude is talented as hell and seems genuine."
