McDonald's stores around the UK and several other countries have been experiencing technical difficulties, leaving customers unable to order food on their app.
According to the BBC, a McDonald's franchise owner said an IT issue was affecting some of their 21 branches this morning (15 March).
It reports that McDonald's said the issue is not connected to cyber security, and is being resolved.

The company said: "We are aware of a technology outage, which impacted our restaurants; the issue is now being resolved."
Plenty of Brits have been taking to social media to express their disappointment at not being able to order food.
Someone tweeted McDonald's to ask them 'why can I order through the app this morning but all of my local McDonald's are closed', while a second said their local branch was 'turning everyone away' due to a claimed 'national outage' with the ordering system.

"Ketchup is red, Burgers are brown, I ordered McDonald's, But their system is down," one Maccies fan with the soul of a poet wrote.
"Absolute chaos at McDonald's up and down the country," another said, and joked that 'staff actually have to speak to customers now'.
This isn't just happening in the UK, as there were complaints across Austria, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Japan.
McDonald's in Japan said the reason for problems was a 'system failure' and asked customers for their patience while it was resolved.
McDonald's has since told LADbible that it is aware of the problem and said it has been resolved in the UK and Ireland.

The fast food chain said: "We are aware of a technology outage which impacted our restaurants.
"The issue has now been resolved in the UK and Ireland. We thank customers for their patience and apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
"The issue is not related to a cybersecurity event."
So it sounds like McDonald's is back up and running, at least on the shores of these islands, though you might have missed your window to buy a Breakfast Wrap.

Naturally, a prolonged downtime for McDonald's would have caused the collapse of civilisation as we know it.
We all remember what happened in the UK when KFC said it had run out of chicken for a short amount of time.
Now imagine the catastrophe that would befall us if McDonald's went down for a long time and people couldn't order anything for ages, it'd be the end of days.
