People Are Confused By The 'Ghost' Modelling Zara's Jeans

“Lmao why have Zara decided to model jeans like this?”

Many people are confused by the model Zara has chosen to show off some new jeans... largely because there isn't one. Or at least if there is, it's certainly not something from this world, with many Twitter users suggesting it must be a fashion-loving apparition styling out the kecks in question.

One online shopper spotted the jeans over on the Zara website, and tweeted a couple of screenshots of the trousers in action, writing: "Lmao why have Zara decided to model jeans like this?"

They've got a point, to be fair.

According to the pictures, the 'ZW Premium Petite' jeans will set you back €39.95 (£34/$44), and come in both white and 'acid black'.

Many people suggested that Zara must have employed a ghost to model the jeans for them, also noting the garment's likeness to the baggy trousers silent movie star Charlie Chaplin was famous for.

As one person praised Zara's 'inclusive consideration' of 'ghost clientele', someone else wrote: "Times are so hard at Zara they've had to employ Charlie Chaplin's ghost to model for them."

A few others were reminded of another memorable and, er, almost as iconic moment from the TV and film world, referencing an episode of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius called 'When Pants Attack'.

A third praised Zara's 'inclusive consideration' of 'ghost clientele', while another quipped: "Why are these jeans giving me unwanted advice at the bar in Wetherspoons?"

Of course, it was also only a matter of time before people started making jokes about John Cena, whose 'You Can't See Me' catchphrase was turned into a hugely popular meme.

Originally the phrase was supposed to indicate that the 42-year-old wrestler was too fast for his opponents, who were in turn unable to see his actions coming. But the internet being the internet, people decided to take this idea more literally, turning it into a meme about being physically unable to see Cena.

"John Cena is into modeling now?" one person asked after seeing the Zara jeans.

I mean, he has been known to enjoy a bit of denim in his time - including in the ring - so perhaps it's not so far-fetched after all.
