Whether you're a TV series binger, you like to revisit old favourites or you just want to be able to catch up on the latest 'must watch' TV show, you have to admit that Netflix is pretty much a household essential.

In the past, platforms like Netflix and Sky have seemed to be competing for our viewing attention but not anymore as a new deal means you can get them both and have access to over 30,000 shows at the touch of a (remote control) button.

Netflix and Sky via Sky Stream means you can access 30,000 shows on demand.
Netflix

Sky is currently offering a new Sky and Netflix deal in 'Sky Stream' which means you can have access to everything on its TV channels, including Succession, House of Dragon, Game of Thrones, The Last of Us and more.

It also means you can wrap up your Netflix access into it too, so you can catch up on must-see TV like Baby Reindeer, The Gentlemen and 3 Body Problem.

Sky Stream is being offered with no upfront fee and also links together entertainment platforms such as Disney+, BBC iPlayer, discovery+, Spotify all together in one place.

The new deal is also being offered at a great price for the first month, which then switches to £29 a month on a 31-day rolling contract but you can cancel at any time.

With new series of Sky favourites like House of Dragon set to land, now is the time to get Sky channels in one of their cheapest deals.
HBO

The only thing to note is the Netflix in the Sky Stream deal does come with ads, but if you're already using that plan with the streaming platform then it wouldn't be a huge change and you could still upgrade and pay the difference for the ad-free version.

You can also build out the package further for the ultimate TV all-rounder and have access to Sports, Cinema, Kids and more, as well as having it all in HD.

I mean, this takes Netflix and chill to a whole new level and you'd never need to leave your sofa?! It is a bit pricier at £43 per month (reduced from £52) but for that you would get Sky Stream, Sky Sports (nine dedicated channels), Ultra HD, Sky TV & Netflix so it's the ultimate viewing package.

With the Euros and the Olympics coming up, there's never been a better time to consider the sports options...

If Sky is something you're looking into, you could also upgrade your TV experience and get the new Sky Glass TV, which comes with a 4K UHD Quantum Dot screen, six speakers and a built-in 360° Dolby Atmos soundbar. Using no separate box and connecting straight to your home WiFi, the TV could be yours from £14 per month.

If you also want to go the whole hog then you can get Sky Stream with Sky's Ultra Fast Broadband deal for £39 a month, meaning you'll have Sky WiFi as well as access to all the TV programmes and shows across Sky and Netflix.

If this summer ends up a wet washout, at least you can be sure you'll be entertained with TV!
