After her win at last night's SAG Awards, Jennifer Aniston revealed that one role she would have liked a go at is a comic book character.

Speaking to reporters at a press conference, she said: "I wanted to be Wonder Woman, but I waited too long."

The titular character was most recently portrayed by Gal Gadot in the 2017 film, and she will reprise the role in the film's sequel Wonder Woman 1984, set for release in June 2020.

Speaking about what she wants to do in the future, Jennifer added, "I don't know. I have a lot to do. I really, honestly, feel that I'm just kicking into a creative stride. I've just discovered a new love of this in a new way that I didn't know that I had before so I almost have new eyes that I'm seeing what it is that I do as an actor.

"I want to do more comedies. I want to have some laughter."

When she accepted her award for Best Actress in a Series, the 50-year-old actor gave a shout out to Adam Sandler.

Aniston scooped the gong for her performance in TV drama The Morning Show at the Screen Actors Guild Award in Los Angeles overnight, but she stood up for Sandler, who appeared in Uncut Gems, which has been snubbed by a number of awards shows, including the Oscars.

Her first ever SAG, Aniston reflected on her breakthrough into acting, with a nod to a restaurant commercial that she appeared in.

Jennifer said: "They were humble beginnings, but you have to start somewhere."

Her reaction was also caught on camera as Brad Pitt made a dig at playing a character 'who doesn't get on with his wife' in Once Upon a Time... in Hollywood - with people thinking it was a joke about his ex-wife Angelina Jolie. Watch it here:

Speaking of his character in the film Cliff Booth, Pitt said: "It was a difficult part, a guy who takes his shirt off, gets high and doesn't get on with his wife. It was a big stretch, big."

The 56-year-old actor - who was picking up his award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Supporting Role at the SAG Awards - was married to Aniston, 50, before going on to marry Jolie in 2014 after working together on Mr. & Mrs. Smith.

It looks like fans are rooting for a reconciliation between Brad and Jen, which is probably why people picked up on her reaction to his speech last night where he joked about his failed marriage.
