Calling all the single ladies - and the single men for that matter - Sunday 5 January is the day to get your Tinder, Hinge, Bumble, Grindr or whatever dating platform you're on up to scratch.
So if you've found yourself single and looking for a potential rebound, or your 2020 resolution is to find 'The One' and enjoy a year filled with romance, then Singles Sunday is the day for you, as millions of Brits are expected to log into dating apps tomorrow in the quest for love.
According to data from Match.com based on last year's activity, there is expected to be a 300 percent increase in sign ups on Single Sunday, with messages sent expected to follow suit and rise by 200 percent.

But it's not just Match.com that is seeing wannabe lovers seeking out some action; Tinder and Hinge have also predicted Sunday to be a busy day for romance. Get online at 11pm if you want to make the most of your swiping action, with this considered 'peak swiping' time.
Still not convinced? Tomorrow marks less than six weeks until Valentine's Day, so if you're looking for a date for 14 February it's time to put the groundwork in.
Singles Sunday also falls in the middle of 'cuffing season', the time of year when most people get themselves into new relationships.
Even if 2019 gave you the worst break-up or a stream of bad dates, it's not too late to turn it around in this new decade. A third of singletons are expected to make 2020 the year they try for love, according to a survey from Match.com, with 55 percent of 18-34-year-olds expected to try harder in the romance department this year.
The rise in daters is thought to be a result of the likes of dating shows such as the upcoming winter edition of Love Island, which saw over 98,000 applications from unlucky-in-love singletons for the 2019 series.

Inner Circle, the dating app for young professionals, also confirmed it was expecting a busy month ahead, with a rise in matches on its platform in January.
CEO David Vermeulen said: "This goes to show that singles have the best chance of getting a date and meeting someone in the new year if they are active on Dating Sunday."
