Ever wondered how much it costs to charge your iPhone all year round? Well, wonder no more, because I'm gonna tell ya.
Considering everything to do with iPhones costs an arm and a leg, you'd be forgiven for guessing it costs a lot.
However, it turns out you can actually keep it charged for a year for less than £1. Swear down.

According to Digital Spy, a kilowatt hour (kWh) of electricity will cost you around about 10 pence, depending on your energy supplier.
Basically, the iPhone 6 has a 5W charger and needs to be connected to the mains for a little over 100 minutes in order to take its 1715mAh battery from zero to fully charged.
Apparently, five watts is just 0.005 kilowatts and it takes 1.7 hours per full charge.
Taking into account the fact that a kilowatt of electricity will set you back 10p, that means it costs 0.085p per charge.

So if you charge your phone once a day (I wish, fam), that's an annual iPhone charge cost of 31.025p.
Cheaper than chips.
Who knew, eh?
