Looking sharp, Jonah!

Jonah Hill has been hitting the gym and slimmed down to his lowest ever weight since he leapt into the public eye.

He has lost all the weight he put on for his role in War Dogs, and his weight has fluctuated as he has been asked to gain and lose weight for certain roles.

The 33-year-old starred in War Dogs last year and had to put on nearly three stone for the role as an arms dealer.

But here he is now, looking lean.

At his heaviest, Jonah weighed almost 18 stone.

However, after filming finished Jonah decided to get trim again and turned to his Jump Street co-star Channing Tatum for help.

Speaking on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, he revealed the hilarious advice the Magic Mike star gave him.

He said: "I gained weight for this movie War Dogs, and then I wanted to get in better shape, so I called Channing Tatum, and said, 'Hey, if I ate less and go to a trainer, will I get in better shape?'

"And he said, 'Yes, you dumb motherfucker, of course you will, it's the simplest thing in the entire world'."

He's got previous experience of rapid weight loss; back in 2011 he slimmed down his 17 stone 8lb frame for his role in Moneyball.

Speaking about his two stone eight lb weight loss, he said: "I wish there was some crazy thing that I did, like a pill or a genie or something.

"But it was, unfortunately, I went to see a nutritionist, and he told me what to eat to change my habits and stuff. I found that Japanese food was very helpful to me."

But it's not just about weight loss. Jonah also wants to get healthy. He told Vulture: "Being healthier came along with maturity and it's hard, because a lot of times people want you to be the guy you were when they met you.

"And I love doing funny movies, but I want to mature, literally, in how I treat myself. I'm not living in a frat house with a bong plastered to the table.

"But all this stuff [points to his body] is just part of maturing in body and in mind.

"I just want to be a good man and to make my family proud. And, you know, I want to live a long time."

Well done to him - a clean body, a clean mind.
