As his on-screen wife Linda Carter, played by Kellie Bright, was enjoying a quick chinwag with pal Sharon Mitchell, played by Letitia Dean, in the Queen Vic kitchen, his character Mick entered the scene for a brief moment.

"I think these are a little bit tight don't you?" he asked before stepping out in a pair of skinny jeans he was planning to wear in the Walford Christmas play.

Noticing the bulge, Sharon quipped to Linda: "So the rumours are true!"
