A live crab was spotted getting off the train at Cheltenham Spa having travelled all the way from Manchester Piccadilly.
It's not clear why it was travelling there or what business it had in Gloucestershire but my guess is it simply did not give a crab.
Fellow passenger Dan Baker was the first to spot the crustacean and Bethany Jenkins, 17, who was also on the train said no one had any idea where the crab had come from.
"It was just crawling through the D carriage and people were quite shocked and making jokes," she said.
"When we stopped at Cheltenham some people picked it up and put it on the platform, and told one of the conductors.
"They managed to find a bag to put it in and he took it up to the office. I've no clue how it got on!"
Cross Country Trains said the crab was escorted off because it had tried to 'sidestep' paying. Banter. Banter. Banter. Banter. Banter. Banter. Banter. Banter. Banter. Banter.
