Spider Reckons He Can Start On These Honey Bees, Gets Slaughtered

Do you fancy spending your Monday afternoon just screaming in terror? You do? Great.

Bees, especially honey bees, have a pretty good rep, don't they? People like them. Your mum always says, 'oh, it's more scared of you than you are of it!' when one flies near you. They're also just generally known as being striped little good guys.

But don't fucking turn up at THEIR hive trying to eat them, or they will kick off, as this clip shows.

At first, they're pretty chilled. They just leave the spider to it, but then the eight-legged idiot makes a fatal error by moving too quickly and that's it. Unlike most spiders, this bad boy hunts its food, rather than building a web. That was its downfall here, because those quick 'stalking' movements are what got it into this mess in the first place.

As much as I dislike spiders, I do feel a bit sorry for this one. There it was going about its creepy, everyday business with no clue of the danger it was in until it was too late and the poor bastard is just smothered in bees.

The bees in this hive swarm and paralyze the spider before eating it. Isn't nature beautiful...?
