Trump Is Pissing Off A Bunch Of Bands

It looks like no one wants to be associated with him.

As a musician there's got to be few things worse than finding out that someone you regard a dickhead really likes your music. I mean, does that mean that you're making dickhead-friendly music? Because that surely wasn't part of the plan.

Unfortunately, this does happen. We see it a fair bit over here, like the time the BNP used Manic Street Preachers' 'If You Tolerate This' for one of their campaigns and the band had to issue the party with a cease and desist order.

Well over the pond Trump has found himself in a similar situation, in fact it looks like every artist he's featured in any of his campaign videos is pissed off and has naturally taken to Twitter to let him know.

Queen have been especially outspoken about, what they call, 'the unauthorised use, against our wishes'. Sony followed this up with a statement saying that Trump, or any of his associates, had not asked for permission to use 'We are the Champions' and announced that they were 'frustrated by the repeated unauthorised use of the song after a previous request to desist.'

Not content with pissing off one set of rock royalty, Trump has also angered the Rolling Stones, George Harrison's estate, Twisted Sister and R.E.M. You can also add Adele, Elton John and rapper Everlast to that list, according to Mashable.

At this rate he's just going to have to start writing his own music.
