If you're not aware of hair metal jokers Steel Panther by now you almost certainly should be.

The band have enjoyed a surprising rise to metal stardom thanks to their repertoire of gaudy, comedic and often sexually explicit songs - including '17 Girls In A Row', Party All Day (Fuck All Night)', and 'Supersonic Sex Machine'.

Steel Panther's brand of tongue-in-cheek glam metal has earned them hordes of fans and sold-out arena shows around the world.

However, one lucky fan recently shocked the band at one of their gigs, when he absolutely slayed it on guitar.

After inviting the fan from the audience up on stage and sharing in some banter, the kid went onto nail a rendition of 'Eyes of a Panther' from the band's debut album.

The video originally dates from a couple of years back, but has remerged thanks to a Reddit repost; where people are going mad for the shredders skills, as he lives out some commenter's dreams.

I mean, he is legit good enough to actually be in the band; simple as that.

Others are tearing into his performance and puzzling why Steel Panther have any fans in the first place. Harsh.

Someone else points out the guy's uncanny resemblance to Daniel Radcliffe, which is now all I can see when I watch the clip.

Whatever you think of the band, fair play to six-stringed virtuoso - I am insanely jealous.
