Muslim Comedian Sits Next To The Donald’s Son, Chats About Everything

Eric Trump seems like a decent bloke.

Eric Trump? Never heard of him but know the surname?

Yeah, me too.

Anyway, he is the son of The Donald and recently sat next to a comedian on a flight from Newark to Glasgow. This is Newark, New Jersey, not the below-par town on the Nottinghamshire, Lincolnshire border for a bit of context and passive aggressive social commentary on a very boring place.

Plaudits to the comedian for even recognising him, to be honest. And for raising his profile.

Mohammed 'Mo' Amer sat next to Eric on Wednesday and asked him questions about some of his father's imminent plans as the president-elect.

When Mo sat down, he reportledly told Eric: "You have no idea how fantastic this is for me right now. My name is Mohammed. Salams [Salaam-Alaikum - nice to meet you]. I'm a stand-up comedian. This is fantastic for me."

According to Buzzfeed, Amer also noted that Eric ordered the pork and then didn't even eat it, as if it was some kind of thing. Let's be honest, Eric just fell asleep. Mo didn't give a shit, but the media did for some reason.

Mo asked about The Donald's plan for all Muslims to have identifications, to which Eric reportedly replied: "Do you really think we're gonna do that."

Mo then wrote: "Good news guys. Muslims will not have to check in and get IDs. That's what I was told."

He then asked Eric about his father, to which he replied: "He's a good man. He's really really good. Just beautiful. He's really really great," as if he was going to say anything other than that.

Writing about Eric himself, he stated: "I believe his dad raised him super old-school and that's the feeling I got from him. He's flying first class to Scotland for a day, checking-in on their golf-course, going in and talking to them. This guy is all about business." This, to be perfectly honest, is not a surprise and nothing new. And you're sta next to him Mo, in first class.

Trump owns a golf course in Aberdeenshire (which I've been to). Among the beautiful and incredible clubs in the county, this one is divisive among locals.

Come January, Donald Trump will be the president of the United States of America. Although a divisive character, he probably doesn't mean all the rubbish that came out of his mouth and his advisers will run the country. There'll be very little day-to-day change. Get over it.

This is highlighted by Mo himself, who states: "He [Eric] basically acknowledged the fact that his father played this thing like a mad genius and that's how he got elected and he admitted it."

Trump played the game. He won. Top Trump.
