Dad’s Open Letter About Ex-Wife Going Viral For The Right Reasons

A great example to their children.

Billy Flynn Gadbois, from Boston, uploaded a heart-warming post explaining why him and his ex-wife still do normal family routines on occasions.

On her birthday, he went over and gave her flowers and cooked her breakfast with his children. Here's his message.

It read, in full:

"It's my ex-wife's birthday today so I got up early and brought flowers and cards and a gift over for the kids to give her and helped them make her breakfast.

"Per usual someone asked me why the hell I still do things for her all the time. This annoys me. So ima break it down for you all.

"I'm raising two little men. The example I set for how I treat their mum is going to significantly shape how they see and treat women and affect their perception of relationships. I think even more so in my case because we are divorced.

"So if you aren't modelling good relationship behaviour for your kids, get your shit together. Rise above it and be an example. This is bigger than you.

"Raise good men. Raise strong women. Please. The world needs them, now more than ever."

There's no better reason for getting rid of animosity, hard feelings or petty disputes than that.

ANOTHER STORY OF EXES BEING STRONG

When Mo from Texas shared her father's last gift to her mother before the divorce went through, it showed that the pair could still get on amicably.

He bought his wife a large bunch of flowers with the message: "Always gonna be you, Jason."

Mo said of the gift: "My dad sent my mum her favourite flowers.

"He used to send her flowers when she was having a bad day and to know that even after today he still did it breaks my heart.

"I have never cried so hard over four simple words."
