Do you have far too much time on your hands? If you do, then you may have noticed that all crisps go out of date on a Saturday. Honestly, they, do. Check now. See?

One Facebook user who definitely fits into the 'too much time on your hands' category even set up a page about it. Thankfully, they haven't updated it since 2011 - I mean, what else is there to say, for one thing? - so hopefully they're out there having fun now.

Anyway, such was everyone's curiosity - honestly, people care about this stuff, that Walkers issued a statement on its website to let everyone know.

On its FAQ section, it states: "In the manufacturing sites we work on production weeks which start on a Sunday. All product produced in that week will have the same best before date. As the week ends on the Saturday, the best before date will always end on a Saturday."

So now you know, we all can sleep better tonight, can't we?
