Sometimes an incredible feat of strength can also be an incredible feat of idiocy, as was the case after a bloke managed to inconvenience 279 other passengers by breaking the panel off the ceiling of a brand new plane.
The unidentified passenger was boarding a flight from Hong Kong to Bangkok on a brand new Cathay-operated Airbus A350 when he discovered that there weren't any lockers above his seat.

Despite flight attendants telling him that they'd find storage space for him elsewhere, the passenger refused to believe them, Mashable reported.
He instead proceeded to rip open the roof panel with his bare hands, in an attempt to find space for his luggage.

An unimpressed passenger on the flight took a picture of the damage and posted it on his Facebook on Wednesday.
As the ceiling panel had been ripped open, the airline had no choice but to empty the plane of all 300 passengers and get its engineers in to repair the damage.
The passengers had to wait three hours for the damage to be repaired.
Sadly, Cathay Pacific has decided not to take any action against the passenger, which is a pity because it sounds like they need teaching a lesson.
