If, like me, the idea of getting yourself a foot on the property ladder is as distant a dream as having a robot for a best pal, then you might want to look away now. Someone has designed a motorhome that costs almost twice the price of an average home in England.
The Empire Liner by Morelo is set to be unveiled later this week at the Motorhome & Caravan Show 2016, which is apparently a real thing. If you've got a spare £378K lying around and fancy a life on the road, then you can look forward to underfloor heating, a rain shower, whatever that is, and, bizarrely, a garage.
Shall we have a look at what you get for your money?

It's just a slightly bigger version of a normal motorhome from the outside, isn't it? I'm not an expert but this looks like any and every other motorhome I've ever seen, except it's a bit bigger, it's parked in a fancier garden and has a nicer car beside it.

If you go inside, this is the double bedroom. This is alright but...£378K? It's just a small bedroom with too many windows. Enjoy having to close all of those blinds whenever you want to get down to it or get changed. The roof also offers a panoramic view, so you really are fully exposed here.

OK. This is a bit cooler, I suppose. But, it's still £378K we're talking about here. Once again, I'm underwhelmed.

If you're into stats about engines, then you'll be bubbling with excitement when I tell you that the Empire Liner has a 7.7-litre, six-cylinder engine that produces 299hp. Apparently it's particularly popular with Formula One stars.
