Customer Rings Police After Fish And Chip Shop Put Gravy On His Chips

Greater Manchester Police have tweeted about emergency call they received and - although they haven't revealed the identity of the person behind it - it was almost certainly a southerner.

Writing on Twitter, the force said: "999 from fish and chip shop earlier this week - customer kicking off, apparently because they put gravy on his chips. The shop was closed when we got there later, and in the absence of any other calls, we've assumed no-one got battered."

Ignoring the fact this is 2017 and the police now use social media to have dad banter, you've got to think the person behind the call must have been the worst person in the world: not only did they waste emergency services time, they also seem to have some kind of problem with chips and gravy.

One tl;dr killjoy decided to go in on the police for the tweet, and really take advantage of the extra 140 characters the social media site now gives you.

Looking through the replies I also discovered that there are chip shops down south that don't even serve gravy with chips. Fuck living down there.
