It Looks Like President Trump Just Made Up A Terror Attack In Sweden

Swedish residents aren't impressed.

Does anyone else think Donald Trump is just trolling the world at this point? Or he needs to sack pretty much everyone on his team and just start again.

At a rally in Melbourne, Florida yesterday President Trump was defending his controversial 'Muslim ban', telling the crowd: "We've got to keep our country safe."

He then went on to mention a number of countries that he believes are suffering because of immigration. Pointing out Sweden, in particular, he said: "You look at what's happening in Germany, you look at what's happening last night in Sweden. Sweden, who would believe this. Sweden. They took in large numbers. They're having problems like they never thought possible."

But now people in Sweden are wondering what he's going on about, because there was no incident in Sweden 'last night'.

In Sweden they do things a bit differently, so the country's official Twitter account is run by a different citizen every week (Jesus Christ, could you imagine if they tried to do that here?).

The lady who is looking after the account this week took to Twitter to say: "Nothing has happened here in Sweden. There has not [been] any terrorist attacks here. At all."

And she's not alone, a bunch of other Swedish folk also used social media to confirm that there had been no incident - terrorist related or otherwise.
